Spiceboixs - Close to sharing, I promise!

My initial estimate of finishing this comic by the end of July was overly ambitious in retrospect. But, the occasional slow down isn’t always a bad thing. I’ll be releasing a PDF of Spiceboixs here in my shop in October! So, be sure to check back after you’ve set your pumpkins out for the neighborhood squirrels to munch on.

I’m really excited to share these zany characters and absurd story with you. I even took advantage of my self-imposed extended deadline to include some fun extras.

Cheers!

Went through more than a few markers doing the color on this. Donations for my future carpal tunnel surgery are very much appreciated!

Traveling Sketchbook Art Show

Traveling Sketchbook Art Show

Tomorrow night starting at 5PM I will be displaying my traveling sketchbook at Rattle Inn in downtown Austin. Come by for drinks and art-a great way to get your night started. I will have illustrations, zines, and photo prints of all price-points for sale. Scott Cochran of One Year 47 National Parks will also be in attendance to display some of his awesome shots from around Texas. Come on down y’all!

I am documenting Texas landscapes to help get more people involved with Texas Land Conservancy’s mission of protecting Texas’ scenic lands and conserving our aquifers for generations to come.

Learn more about Scott’s work here.

Happy Valentines Day!

For V-day, I've made some fun, simple valentines day card designs that you can print out and give to your space-traveling co-captain! They are animal themed and part of my ongoing work with the Texas Land Conservancy.

Follow this link to download the files from a dropbox folder!

The easiest way to make a card is to print this on an 8.5 x 11 in landscape orientation. Let your print software scale it to fit and then slide it over to the RIGHT side. Print it. Fold it. You'll be getting' some this weekend.

For the serious pilgrims among you, the images are 5 x 7, so if you wanna trim it down to card size you can!

I have this cave-dwelling fellow and two others! Happy Valentines day y'all!
